Thank you so much ladies for your compliments I really appreciate them. FMQ was something I seemed to take to fairly easily, I made a whole bunch of sandwiches and took maybe an hour a day for a week or so, did a few meandering and stippling and tried a few random designs of my own. The leaves on the border of one quilt was just my design and freehand I haven't as yet used a stencil. For the lady who asked about English paper piecing, you cut out the pieces of the block on paper, then fold fabric around them, baste them onto the paper and then piece your block together, it's very time consuming and can be tedious but as much as I like being on my sewing machine this is something I can do when I'm watching tv or travelling. I know that as I get more proficient I'm going to want to start doing more intricate quilting, I am always in awe at some of the amazing quilting I've seen on this site. And without this site and the wonderful women on it I wouldn't be where I am today with my quilts, so a huge thank you to you all.
