it is pretty easy for someone who knows sewing machines...I bought mine in an antique mall and had to figure it out crouched in a crowded booth...but I wasn't going to buy it until I knew for sure it was going to work for me! LOL

I don't know if I just got lucky but I got it loaded with just 3 trys. I guessed at threading it & 1st try worked. I downloaded a manual from Singer that said it was for 128 but the manual was not for my 128. It showed a regular round bobbin (like the new machines) & mine has a shuttle so I took a lucky guess & it worked. It sounded a bit loud but I'm sure it hasn't been oiled in ions so I did that & ran it for a bit & will try it again tomorrow. The stitches were unbelievably regular & very good. A bit small but perfect. Is there a way to adjust the stitch length?? Does anyone know?
