My friend's husband died several years ago, and she had a quilt made using his flannel shirts. It was a row of flying geese and then a plain row, etc. It was very simpler, but very striking. This would depends on whether this girl would be willing to part with her brother's clothes - or whether his mother would be willing to part with them.
