Don't feel bad, I think everybody has done this. Bindings take a while to get use to, I now do them w/o any trepidation, and I've made over 500 quilts and wall hangings. They do become 2nd nature, but, like everything else, it takes practice. Keep your chin up, and keep trying, it honestly does get easier.
