Everyone has their own favorites. I LOVE batiks...the good quality ones with the clearer designs. I don't care for the ones that look like blobs of wax were dumped on them. I'm not a fan of Civil War fabrics and dislike most of the drab collections, such as Moda's. Batiks make good blender fabrics. They can mix well with regular quilting prints too. Use what makes you happy!
