Hubby built me an 8 ft by 4 ft table (kitchen counter top height) and put a new formica top on it. We sat the top on some inexpensive pre-made cabinets that we got at Lowes on sale. Each cabinet had a drawer and a section underneath with two doors. We bought five and clamped them together, 3 on one side and two on the other. Left the center open on one side so I could sit on my bar stool. Works perfect. Plenty of storage and the cabinets were on wheels so you could move the table around if necessary.
