You ladies are choking me up! Really! The kindness of quilters just takes my breath away. Right now we are bound by contract not to contact or involve anyone as we are signed up with the VFW to represent us. My hub can't even write a letter to a state rep. We've almost contacted Patty Murray who is very pro-veteran, but we were flat out told that we have to discontinue our contract with the VFW prior to doing so. We have been waiting for their final final FINAL decisions on this and if they blow him off again I'll PM his name to anyone who wants to blast our state Reps on his behalf.
At least my hubby has an advocate! So many veterans are 100 % exhausted... 100% alone.. and they give up the fight. That ain't happening at this house I can tell you!
We are hoping to know SOMETHING in the next couple weeks. I promise to keep you informed. I soooo appreciate all of you... and yes...we started out talking about laundry...and here we are.
