It has a bit of a tug on the thread when I turn the hand wheel still - it might work but just hand turning it makes it hard to tell. It needs power, whether E, HC or T, I don't know yet. Each has an issue. E needs wires. DH hasn't had time... HC needs some work on a wheel and treadling needs a treadle - I have nothing that will let it just drop in and treadle. Has anybody taken the top off an E cabinet and put it on a treadle base?
Miriam Wow, the difference in that 319w is awesome! Mr Ed looks just like my 319w, but mine has a couple little chips! You would love treadling that baby. My 319w is set up permanently in a treadle in my sewing room and I use that machine all the time! The 8 machines I use the most are the 319w in treadle, my Mom's Pfaff 130 electric machine, my Two Spools treadle, my Pfaff 1222e electric for the walking foot, my Singer 15-88 treadle, my featherweights for classes, my Betty - Davis Vertical Feed treadle, and my Rocketeer 503a for machine applique'!
