I made the basket block and it's NOT 9 1/2 " finished. It's just over 9 1/4". If you make cut the outer pieces a bit larger you should be ok. I hate this
It's paper piecing so you can't do anything about those measurements. It should not be that hard to make a foundation pattern the right size.
