I bought a Brother Quattro 2 Sewing/Embroidery Machine today - and I'm SO excited!!! My other machine (a Pfaff 2170) is a great machine but I was unable to do large designs unless I used software to split them, which is way over my head, and I didn't want to have to do that with every large design (8x8) I wanted to stitch out. I want to be able to just load the design and go.
The Brother has features and capabilities my Pfaff doesn't have. I spent time today becoming familiar with the sew functions, stitches, threading, etc. All the basics of the machine. Tomorrow I'm going to tackle the embroidery end of things. I can't wait to be able to stitch out those larger designs. I fell in love with this machine when I saw it demonstrated last Fall. Now one is living in my sewing room!
