I will check out Leah Day. I have a question about the charm packs. Are 5 inches big enough to do any thing? What about the fabric that gets cut off? Are they usually big enough to make anything? My biggest fear I think is getting stuck with a needle. OUCH.

If you go to JoAnns or a quilt store, you can get a packet of fabric, called a charm pack, that is already cut in 5 inch squares. Then, just start sewing them together. You will end up with a small lap quilt or table topper.

My greatest piece of advice would be to have no fear. If you make a mistake, so what! You will learn lots. Just have fun!!
