Default Ginger, a circa 1900 Foley and Williams Goodrich B treadle

Hello all,
This machine came to me via a wonderful lady that I met at cribbage play and through a bowling league. There isn't much information out there on these machines.

Her slide plates are wonderful! The front plate has instructions for the size needle to use with different cottons/fabrics - oh yes, and the user is to "Use Genuine Needles" <giggle>. The back plate has three different patten dates, Oct. 6, 1891, Feb. 5, 1898 and Oct. 25, 1898.

Her cabinet is pretty despite being a bit tired. She just needs a belt and a bobbin to be wound and we'll be ready for our first run together. Looking forward to hearing what she does.

If anyone has any resources to help me date this girl, I do have her 6 digit serial number. And if you haven't guessed, I'm toe over heels in love with treadling. :-)

Enjoy.

best,
d
