My center and points fit together perfectly. I never made a Lone Star before so I was lost, but the customer wanted a Lone Star. I never back away from something new so...... I found a video lesson on YouTube by Jan Krentz. "Jan Krentz Teaches You to Make a Lone Star Quilt". It was a 72 hour rental... only for $3.99. Well worth the price. Its about a hour and half long.
