my repair guy is awesome! After a quick look found there was a problem with the tension unit, took it apart, found a chunk of steel missing from said unit, had a replacement that fit, got it running like a charm. Cost - parts and labour $0.00 (his wife is my quilting instructor). Payment - my carrot cake with cream cheese icing - sweet deal all around
. Still no manual though, I'll keep looking.....
