Unfortunately not all Bernina Dealers are as good at getting problems solved as other Dealers. I would insist on the proper repair. I would even go so far as to ask that Dealer to send it in to Chicago to Bernina for repair. No one should have to deal with the probles you are having. The best of luck to you and keep us posted
