I don't know what method of payment you used for your machine but DH and I only purchase mechanical/computerized items with our American Express card for the simple reason that if we have problems with them AE will go to bat for us and believe me they get listened to when we don't. We had an Acer computer that had issues over and over and over. Once the warranty with Acer had expired the warranty with AE kicked in and they issued us a full refund for the computer. Acer wasn't going to do anything about it no matter how much we complained, until AE took over. Ann in TN
