Fryguy...your blocks are good looking. I think most quilt patterns were made on the fly to accommodate whatever fabric they had. Keep up the good work.
Oksewglad...do you still live on a working dairy? Your description brought back memories of when I helped milk cows for the neighbor. He had a double 8 parlor. He took the front 4 and I did the back four unless there was a new heifer in my section. He did all the training.
