I am glad you revived this topic, I have just started another scrappy, using up all the 4 Patches and HST's leftover from the quilt in my Avatar. This is another variation of the Jacob's Ladder Block. I couldn't believe how many blocks I have got done out of what was left...48 6.5" AND I have LOTS of 4" squares and 2" squares already cut! Anyway, thought you all would like to see the beginning, these are just thrown on the bed!
