She should be shown how to oil her machine, not have to hear it second or third hand on a quilting forum. And actually oiling behind the dots is not clear enough and not really in the right spot! The copper colored, strip of metal behind the dot, is the part that receives the oil drop. Any dealer, that doesn't have the time to show someone who's just bought a $10,000 machine how to oil it, is not a dealer I'd buy from.
