After going back and looking at the machine - without the stars in my eyes - I see it does not have a shuttle but a bobbin and the foot is missing?
Nancy, I was with 3 other people going to S.F. and back and didn't see the machine on CL until after I'd arrived home. A generic foot would not be an issue at all. In fact, you probably have one that would work. Hope you get it. It sounds like a great cause.
