You can send them to Rhonda. She uses those small HSTs for her keychains and such.
When I have many of them do sew, then I sew the first line on the diagonal. Instead of trimming the excess, I draw a second line 1/2" into the leftover square and sew on it. Now when I trim the piece, the HST is already sewn and only needs to be pressed open.
