Attached are the three different bobbins that came with my 1915, Singer Redeye treadle. The first one on the left definately matches Joe's number A (note that the bobbin is not absolutely flat on top) and likely is original to the machine. That is where the nest of vintage thread came from.
The middle one matches Joe's number D.
The third one looks like a generic class 15 bobbin.
