I have to admit I don't understand how it is that everyone is managing to use them since they don't seem even as thick as cardstock. The owner of the store didn't understand either he said he agreed that the product is too flimsy.
I think they're 24 cardstock...whatever that is. It just gives the folded fabric a little more firmness when handling it. Makes it's stand up on the shelf better too.
I don't think the store owner would understand ... unless he's a quilter!
I agree though...we should do what's best for each of us in our own circumstances.
