The first one is machine applique. I ironed the fusible onto the blue fabric, drew the template, cut it out, and when I flipped it over, . . .oops half of the fusible is on the up side!! lol So then I did more squares, and now I have enough of them to make another quilt with all the blues on the left and the whites on the right!! The other quilt is from a book called "Tesselations."
