I have one and like it but I agree all patterns in it are available online. Also because of their age the information and techniques are very dated. All the patterns are templets from before rotary cutting. So there is a sheet with hard plastic that has strips printed on it for log cabin templates, double wedding ring, bears paw or thumbling blocks etc. All these patterns and many more you can find on
http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html for free. I bought mine because there are a couple of quilt stencils in the back. Not the best made but I wanted them and the book is nice but not $150 a piece. I would probably sell mine if I could get $150.
