I quilt my own quilts on my longarm and I didn't have any trouble quilting over the fusible. In fact, I didn't even notice where it was.
Also, I didn't think about it when I posted earlier, but I just used a damp piece of t-shirt material over the poly batting when I fused it and had no problem.
