I don't think I would worry about it. If you don't want to finish them, just don't. They can always wait until you are in the mood...or not at all. Or maybe you want to stitch in the ditch or crosspatch, or stitch near the ditch, etc....instead of FMQ?
If I were you, I'd just sew on what I wanted. Or....if you feel you really want to do them but just can't get started, how about a reward system. I always reward myself for doing something (or even just starting something) that I don't want to do. (I would never clean bathrooms without a reward in mind.
