If I remember right, there was a time limit that you could sign up for free. After that you have to pay for the class.
I was just up on the site and it says that you can invite your friends to sign up any time of the year and they can have access to all of the classes including the ones they need to catch up on. This statement is listed under the supplies and resourse section. If anyone is having problems then they need to contact the Craftsy people to help figure it out because there is no time limit to it.
