No comparison at all. A cathedral windows quilt made the regular way is very labor intensive, but its the perfect quilt to do if you're sitting at your childs practice, at doctors appts, waiting for a repairman, etc.... When you put the pieces together you've got a totally finished quilt -- you don't have batting or a back to apply or quilting to do. It's done. The 10 minute blocks are a fun quilt, and a fast way to put a quilt together, but you'll still have the batting, backing and quilting to do. No way can you compare the two.
