Since alzheimers' has no cure, no way to slow the progress or no way to prevent, caregivers' will try any thing they think might help. I don't really think a caregiver will get false hope. Seems as if our hope is destroyed when your loved one is diagnosed. You just live each day and hope for a cure or someway to slow down this insidious disease.
