A "big" thanks to everyone. Yes, Leslie, most are KT fabrics. Leftovers from the PPing trims I am doing for the FWS Pony Club blocks of the week featured here on the board. I timed how long this took me to make from first string to sewing on the binding; it was 5 1/2 hours with GK interruptions. Then a half hour to HS the binding--one of my favorite quiltmaking processes.
I had wondered ... and thought I'd asked in my original post ... guess not!!
It takes more time than we think to do things, doesn't it?
Look at the # hours we have put into each of the PC + FWS blocks.
*gasp* for the whole quilt!!!
Most would never understand that it'd be possible.
I'm still in awe and am ever-so-happy for the person you will be giving it to.
