I know I may be in the minority, but there are 2 things that keep me going to guild - #1 show and tell and #2 visiting with the other guild members. It is great when we have a genuine speaker or activity, but I would rather not have an activity that was just made up "so we would have something to do". Why not ask the other guild members whether they really want to play quilt games (I do not enjoy those, but some people do), or whether they would rather just visit, ooh and aah over the show and tell, and have time to ask "how did you do that?" My only real complaint about either of my guild meetings is that our time to talk to each other is so limited.
