Great 'fix' it's wonderful that the patch matched so wonderfully in the scope of the entire quilt anyone's eye would pass this fix without notice. It is so great especially considering that the quilt itself may have been washed and the border could have faded somewhat with those washings that it appears to match with perfection in color.
Such a great repair there may be a future for you in quilt restoration! :0)
