The quilt is 60" x 79" which could easily be made larger by adding more blocks. The pattern includes instructions for a pieced 4" star, heart, flag, or 4-patch that could go in the block centers. If you like to applique you could put anything you want in the 4" center of each block. For instance if you wanted a girly quilt you could make it in pastels or bright pinks and put pieced hearts and appliqued flowers or butterflies in the blocks. If you wanted a Christmas quilt you could do it in reds and greens and put pieced stars and appliqued trees in the centers. Really the possiblities are endless.
