But seriously, I am pretty neat about trimming seams and threads as I go along (small lunch bag/trash bag right by machine). And I vacuum when I do the rest of the house. No pets or small children at this point, so don't have to worry about threads causing harm. I end up with fabric spread out around me but love looking and touching it, so it doesn't bother me.
