I seriously don't know where that manager gets his info. It is all over the news, and I just saw some info on Good Morning America that sewing and quilting are at an all time high. Even young people are getting in to the act making and designing their own clothes especially on the designing part. Making purses and even shoes is really popular now. So maybe Hancocks just has to look at the sewers in a different way, and yes concentrate on the quilter because quilting, and applique are also very popular along with embroidery. And to stay in business they probably need to gear there fabric towards the younger people. If you look at the fabric at hancocks, it is either very babyish or for the work women. Not much for the younger crowd. See on a rant again. Back to under the blankets for me.
We are expecting snow in the next couple of hours and by tomorrow it is suppose to be freezing rain and sleet. YUK YUK. Well as long as we don't lose power all is fine with me because I'll just sew. :-)
