Too much trouble to have to pick all the stitches afterwards. If you just clip the bobbin thread every inch or two, put the tip of a small scissor or even the seam ripper without using the sharp edge, in the middle stitch and pull up, all you have to do when done with that side is to flip and pull the top thread off. Hopefully all in one piece, if it was done right. Then you don't have all the little fuzzies to pick out.
