I live north of you and we had 3+ inches of rain over the weekend too. My puppy and I kept wet toes all weekend as I took her out on her leash "as needed". With a puppy, it is "needed" a lot. She does not mind the thunder, thank goodness. It is finally Monday morning, so we have fog this morning. Maybe the yard will dry up a little. I really do not like wet toes that stayed cold all weekend, even though I changed socks & shoes regularly. Her toes were carefully dried after each outing too, which meant lots of extra laundered towels for her. We needed the rain, so I do not want to complain. It would just be nice to have it spread throughout the year a little better. If I was in charge of everything, that is what I would do.
