Don't you mean your sewing machine table?

I agree that you go to PT and talk with them. You may be able to manipulate things by changing the height of your chair and not just the table surface. That is what I did and it worked really well. You can also try having something under your feet if that is a problem - like a large phone book and keep trying to you get something that feels right for you.

My quilting machine is on it's own table and isnt' height adjustable as it was made for me.
