I remember a while back when "Goes" was a substitute for the word said, that annoyed me. The phrase I'm trying to ban being said in my house is "It's not fair" My two grandsons age 9 and 5 spend the weekend with us and bless their hearts they expect me to walk across the room with a cereal bowl in each hand so they get served at the same exact time. According to them nothing is fair and I finally told them that's because there is no such word.
