This machine is for crafts, not so much for quilting. It does what it's suppose to do which is to cut strips of fabric. I use it for string quilting and it works fine for that! I don't have the patience to get accurate cut jelly roll strips. I haven't changed the blade since I bought it and it is still sharp. I bought it at a quilt shop when it first came available. I think it had a better quality blade then now. My DGD uses it to cut strips for wrapping headbands and bangles. It does have it's uses.
