"Kiddos" used for children. A difficult boss used to say word that all the time. It still makes me cringe.
"Teacher, I have a question. Last night my dog started barking and then my dad said,..." (No question in there, just a long and strange story.)
"Teacher, she yelled at me." "IS THIS WHAT SHE SOUNDED LIKE?" "No." "Then she didn't yell at you."
My last one comes from church-when people are told that they aren't "relevant." What does that mean? That sounds so shallow and cruel!
