Wet "puppy hugs"...just what you need
What sweeties. None of ours are scared of thunder or fireworks, and there's certainly no rain here and none expected for a while.
Our big malamute mix wades around in shallow end of the pool to keep cool. He also knows lots of "words" (commands) If you tell him "puppy hugs" he bounds up onto the nearest lap and gives big smoochy face licks, so, sometimes when the dog has been wading I give the "puppy hugs" signal and he jumps all over my husband - the perfect thing if he's been giving me a bit of grief or being grumpy
