your vacation, take your sewing machine, tell your family it is your other kid and have to take her along with you, be sure to give her a name

I hope you find some quilt shops in that area, you will need to buy some fabric while you are on vacation

I'm going to the Oregon Coast to a 5 bedroom beach house for 4 days. My two kids and their spouses and my granddaughter are meeting us there. I am bringing my sewing machine. Is that stupid? I have to stop and pick it up (it had repairs done on it) on the way to the coast, so I want to bring some fabric and maybe sew.
