I just love Amish Country Lanes website too! I have saved a lot of their quilt pics to my computer to motivate me to learn more. They make a slideshow for me when I am not using the computer.

Anyway, I would think that the easiest way to make that would waste fabric, but again, it would be easy. I think making up Log Cabin squares and then overlapping them to form the star, marking where to cut away, and then appliquing it all together and onto a whole cloth piece with borders would be short and sweet.

You can always use the leftover pieces to make scrap quilts!

That is just my idea. I haven't seen the pattern, but I imagine it is much more complicated. :lol: :roll:
