Many times, my husband does restoration on his deceased "Moms junk" and then when his sister sees it restored she makes some comment as to how much her mother wanted her to have that particular piece. We have learned to ignore the comments. It takes work and patience to restore things and if in the future he wants to give it to her then he will, until then "look but leave it alone."
