I totally agree with Jacuie!! This stuff is NOT good for the newer machines at all!! When it first came out everyone was using it for machine embroidering. Thread stitched out like magic, no problem at all. Until the machines began reacting to it! When I was teaching machine embroidery that was one thing I made sure to tell my classes, don't use Sewer's Aid!! Works like a miracle for thread,... not sew much on our machines!!

It is a synthetic lubricant and when it goes through your machine it leaves traces behind, and those bits of lubricant attract ALL the dust/fibers it can...requiring MORE maintenance on your machines!
