I've got it half done. I finished the double 9 patch squares and I'm trying to decide if I want the same coordinating block or a different one. I've been playing with different blocks in EQ7 for a while and working on other projects in the interim.

Easy .... well the pieces are small, and there are quite a few of them. But it's strip pieced so yeah, in a sense it's easy.

The best thing I can recommend is keep your seams super straight. With small pieces like that, a small error in seam allowance is enough to throw the whole block off.

When you sub-cut the strips, keep re-squaring the strip iif necessary - ever 3-4 pieces.

It's very easy to chain piece. I made mine by cutting enough strips to make perhaps 15 blocks at a time and I kept my pieces in a tray to keep them sorted. I would then pull pieces from the tray to pin and chain piece. Mine is scrappy.

Also, startch, starch, starch.

Good luck!! And be sure to show us yours!!
