I just want to give you some hope for change. About 8 years ago I tried to join a group that made charity quilts, and I had to drop out because I couldn't handle the 'it's for charity, anything goes' attitude. I went back to the group several months ago, and there has been a significant change for the better. The same person is in charge, but there are several other women who are helping in the leadership role. The quilts are simple, a quilt back might be heavier home dec fabric, but every quilt is durable and washable. I don't know what caused the change, but I am enjoying working with the group.
