Beer Can Chicken ---- buy a holder at Lowe's - put 1/2 can of beer in holder - set a whole chicken over beer can after rubbing inside of chicken with oil and I also spray the beer can with Pam - oil outside of chicken and put your favorite rub all over chicken - stuff neck with onion - set on center of grill with back and front burners on low/med. Cook 1 hr and enjoy!! AND everyone will be fighting over that delicious onion :-) (Chicken is "sitting" with beer can in its insides) Chicken does not taste like beer - you can use 7UP also, but we like the beer the best. We use Paprika and brown sugar rub.
